Calypso Dive has become the only PADI 5 Star Dive Centre between Townsville and Cairns! The awarding of this status by PADI recognizes Calypso’s achievements in Diver Education, as well as Community and Environmental initiatives. It means that whether you are with us on a dive trip or you are doing more dive training you can be assured that you will be receiving the very best!

The Calypso Dive Centre is an authorised Scubapro retailer. We have all of your diving & snorkelling needs covered: wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, dive computers, fins, booties, rash shirts, casual womens & mens clothing as well as masks & snorkels! Our prices are very competitive so drop in and have look.

Our classroom can accommodate up to 8 students and is next to our training pool. So you can watch the DVD example on our Plasma TV then get your gear on and dive straight into the pool to practice it yourself.

Located at the Calypso Dive Centre our training pool is purpose built to maximise your learning. At both ends it is 1m deep with the centre being 3m deep to perform diving skills.

Calypso provide complimentary transfers from Mission Beach, South Mission Beach, North Mission Beach, Wongaling, Bingil Bay and Dunk Island to and from our dive boats. Pick up times are from 8:20am and expect to arrive back to your accommodation at 5:30pm. If you have your own transport you are welcome to meet us at Clump Point Boat Ramp in Mission Beach at 8:50am. This way you can get straight into your car and head home after a big day.
